What is it?: Forest Environment

Software: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Zbrush, Xnormal, UDK

Duration: 50 hours

 

This forest environment was inspired by nature in general. I wanted to make a forest that felt natural and alien/fantastical at the same time. All high models were sculpted and retopologized in Zbrush, with normals and AO baking from Xnormal. Textures were a mix of Zbrush polypainting and photoshop hand painted textures. Assets were then imported to UDK, placed and lit for final renders
