What is it?: A multiplayer Mod for Unreal Tournament 3. Submitted to Epic's "Make Some Unreal" competition, 2nd place winner.

Software: 3D Studio Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, UT3 Editor, Evart 4.4

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibility: Lead Artist

  • Helped develop visual style
  • Managed a small art team
  • Problem solved and provided feedback for workflow and game play issues
  • Collaberated with concept artist to flesh out vehicle designs
  • Directed and mentored other artists
  • Created Keystone assets
  • Directed gameplay trailer
  • Cleaned up motion capture data in Evart 4.4
  • Appied motion capture data to rigged characters
  • Created animation passes over motion capture
  • Mentored other motion capture artists
  • Directed and critiqued storyboards
  • Helped create compositions and shots for storyboards

Boilerplate is a VCTF UT3 mod created by the Game Wizards production team.

Note that in the following screen shots only the statue is created by me, though the designs of the hoverboard and stingray were a collaberation between me and Johnny Rice. The Stingray was modeled and textured by Ryan Benno.
